Simone
Hello! I'm Simone, an aspiring coolhunter. I was born in Japan, raised in
California, and currently in my final year of studying Marketing,
International Business, and Fine Arts in Washington, DC.
I am fascinated by all sorts of trends- social, sartorial, psychological,
technological... they're undeniably delicious. I want to spend my life
discovering new ones and finding out the causes and motivations that drive
them.
Through various jobs and internships, I've explored the
renewable energy
industry, the environmental movement, the cutting edge of
gourmet chocolate,
the cupcake craze, and
alternate reality games. Once I graduate in May 2010,
I can devote all of my time to the hunt and the real adventure begins!
In addition to coolhunting, I love to read, write, photograph, people watch,
travel, and explore. If our paths ever cross, let's go for a walk! Just make
sure you bring good shoes. And lots of energy.
